This listing is for one Alder bass or guitar billet.  This well matched blank is wide and long enough to make many standard bass /guitar patterns but double-check your template to confirm.
The specie is Western Pacific Coast Alder, as used in both vintage & modern basses and guitars. This is grown in the Western United States.
Many major manufacturers use alder for their electric guitar and bass bodies.
This Alder blank is kiln-dried, sits flat and has been sanded to 1.78”
