The Buy It Now Price is for ***ONE*** value priced bookmatched set of ~~Rustic~~ 4A Western Big Leaf TUBE Quilted Maple (acer macrophyllum).   Buy multiple and save!
These sets have a variety of issues, defects, or quirks: knots, bark inclusions, small voids, color streaks, irregular shape/taper, tiny spots that didn't clean up on the sander, or sander burn.   These are all large enough for a Strat. Depending on the shape you're using, you may be able to find a clear area by cutting and jointing the pieces at an angle. Half Strat outline is penciled on to give an idea. Thickness sanded to .200-.220" but grain has fuzzed up slightly.  They are flat dry and stable.  They just need some creativity and extra care to get the most out of them.
Photographed in outdoor daylight dry and wet with low VOC mineral spirits  Quilt figure tends to hide when its sanded at lower grits.  These all have bold broad tube quilt figure across the board which will pop with fine sanding, stain, and finish!

With thin figured wood, some waviness is common.  All boards are flat and flexible enough to work with unless otherwise noted.  At least one edge is straight but will need to be jointed by machine or hand before gluing.
My simple figured wood grades:
3A : average figure, may not be consistent across the whole pattern or side to side.
4A : Bold consistent figure most people will find very appealing.
5A : The most eye-catching fully figured pieces.

Boards will be shipped wrapped in plastic wrap and packed securely in cardboard. As always upon receiving any wood, its best to let it acclimate to your local environment for at least a week before working with it.
